Q. Are the airplanes for sale that are in the pictures on the website?
A. No. All of the airplanes are custom made to order. The airplanes in the pictures were ordered by and sold to previous customers.
Q. Can you make the airplanes in any size can?
A. They can be made with any standard sized 12oz. or 16oz. cans. Some cans that are slightly taller and slimmer, like the 12oz Coors and Keystone cans will not work because their diameter is smaller than standard. The Coor's Light planes in the pictures were made using 16oz. cans. Smaller cans, like Red Bull, cannot be used.
Q. How many cans do you use in the airplanes?
A. 18 cans.
Q. Can you make an airplane in my favorite local beer?
A. Yes! But you have to provide the empty cans for your own airplane. A common misconception is that I have unlimited access to empty cans to make the airplanes with. I don't. I have to buy the beer from the liquor store in order to get the cans. So if you don't provide the cans for your own plane, I have to add the additional cost of the beer to the price of your airplane.
Q. How long does it take to make an airplane?
A. Typically about five hours.
Q. How long will it take to get my airplane after I order it?
A. Usually within 3 - 4 weeks
Q. What is the shipping cost?
A. It depends on your location, but usually between $12 and $16. The cost of shipping using UPS, FedEx and USPS has really gone up in the last few years!
